  • Walk, Capture, Connect: A Community Day in the Mangroves

Today, residents explored the Jubail Mangroves with us!
We learned about the vital role mangroves play in protecting our environment. During this inspiring morning photo walk, participants not only deepened their understanding of these unique ecosystems but also had the chance to experience photography in a new light—thanks to Nikon, which provided cameras for us to explore and capture the natural beauty around us.

This initiative is part of my project to raise awareness, tell stories, and create impact. By observing and capturing nature up close, residents discovered the power of visual storytelling and how it can drive meaningful change.

I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and documented with the wider community, because awareness leads to action. A big thank you to Jubail Park for the early access and for supporting this meaningful experience.

Let’s continue to raise our voices, celebrate nature’s beauty, and protect what matters.

NATURE CONNECT—Vibes Amidst Mangroves & Serene Landscapes, Capturing the Beauty of Early Mornings!

On April 26, 2025, we guided a photo walk on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. Community members used smartphones and simple cameras to explore and document the local natural beauty and signs of environmental change.

We also shared easy-to-follow tips on basic photography and composition, making them accessible for everyone. This experience encouraged the community to express themselves visually while fostering a deeper connection with nature and promoting environmental awareness.

While learning the basics of photography and storytelling, they discovered how powerful a simple image can be.

Through their lens, they are raising their voices, spreading awareness, and inspiring others to protect our environment—one story at a time.
